Green Smoothie https://www.veganit.org/recipe/green-smoothie/ https://www.veganit.org/recipe/green-smoothie/#respond Fri, 22 Jan 2021 11:20:12 +0000 https://www.veganit.org/?post_type=osetin_recipe&p=1934 Read More]]> This is my go-to green smoothie recipe that I make when I feel like my body needs a little detoxing!

Tips:

-> I think that green smoothies are the best when they’re served fresh, straight from the blender. So, I try to meal prep smoothies by having all the ingredients on hand and ready to go. This means I always have my freezer stocked with frozen fruit and greens!

-> For extra protein and healthy fats, you can also add to your smoothie 1tbsp of your favorite nut butter

-> You can blend your green smoothie the night before and store it in your fridge (up to 2 days). Use an airtight lid to limit oxidation and keep it as fresh as possible. When ready to drink, give it a good shake before you open.

A festive and simple dessert to serve or bring to your next holiday party–or to give as gifts this year.

What´s Chocolate Salame? Chocolate Salame is a Portuguese dessert made from cocoa, biscuits, and a bit of port wine or rum. Some varieties also contain chopped nuts, such as almonds, or hazelnuts and may be shaped like truffles. In Portugal, they are typically made using Marie Cookies. But, since Marie Cookies are not vegan, I used Tostadas Cookies. If you are having trouble finding vegan substitutes for Marie Cookies, you can use digestive cookies.
