Antique early-20th-century illustrated travel book titled South America, painted by A. S. Forrest and described by W. H. Koebel, published by Adam & Charles Black (London), circa 1909–1912. Part of the highly collectible Adam & Charles Black illustrated travel series.
Features original decorative cloth binding with gilt lettering, multiple full-color plates protected by original tissue (rice paper) guards, and the original fold-out map of South America intact. Interior pages are generally clean for age, and all artwork is present.
