This is a used helmet.
It's a helmet used by US Navy SEALs for buggy transport during reconnaissance and surveillance missions.
It is not a combat helmet like the MICH.
When I got it, the helmet's surface was originally a smooth material, but it was generally sticky and had sand on it. I cleaned it up with maintenance, repainted the surface, and made it smooth. I don't think the smell is too noticeable.
It also comes with a dedicated bag.
This is a collector's item, so I don't know if it can actually be used on public roads.
