Vintage African Indigo Denim Mudcloth. Hand woven Malian cotton fabric is traditionally hand-dyed by a tribe in West Africa. Multiple pieces of cloth are hand woven together to make one, large cloth. These gorgeous mudcloths are perfect for styling and photo props, as a rug, wall decor, blanket, draped over a couch, or a beach blanket. They are also used to make pillows or upholster chairs. Each is very unique, no two are alike.
• 100% cotton
• Cutest 1” hand knot + feather fringe one end, the other end is hemmed. Very nice longer piece that is in wonderful vintage condition! *There are two rust type stains. (pictured) Very cool Shibori pattern.
These mudcloths are vintage and show signs of wear consistent with age and history. They may have imperfections, small holes, fringes, frays, patches, or stains that add beautiful and unique character to each piece. These are not considered defects.
CARE: hand wash/machine wash gentle cycle cold water. Lay flat/hang to dry.
