Vintage Jeannette Glass Company jadeite square canister

Vintage Jeannette Glass Company jadeite square canister. The canister and lid are made of opaque green (jadeite or jadite) glass. It was produced circa the 1930s-1940s as an expensive kitchenware. Like many depression-era jadeite pieces, it often glows under a blacklight due to the use of uranium in the glass production. This does have a small crack on the lid. Look at pictures.
