“Honey” and Cinnamon Broas

“Broas de mel” – a typical Portuguese cookie, commonly eaten around holidays like Christmas or Easter. This is my vegan version of “broas de mel”. They’re dense, sweet, satisfying, and perfect to have on yout dinner table.

Harumaki

These vegetable spring rolls are crunchy, crispy, super flavorsome and a great option for an appetizer or a main dish. The best part is that these harumaki can be filled with any veggies leftovers you have!

Note: As you can see, I still don’t master the art of rolling crepes. But, who cares? It was delicious after all. They disappeared in 5 min. This was my first attempt using the dough recipe from a youtube channel called “Receitas do Kazu”. Peixinhos da Horta

Peixinhos da Horta is a traditional dish in Portuguese cuisine. The name of the dish is literally translated as “Little garden fishes”, as it resembles small pieces of fish. It was introduced to Japan by Portuguese sailors in the sixteenth century, where it was eventually developed into tempura.
