Paella https://www.veganit.org/recipe/paella/ https://www.veganit.org/recipe/paella/#respond Fri, 11 Sep 2020 21:35:30 +0000 https://www.veganit.org/?post_type=osetin_recipe&p=1647 Read More]]> This Vegan Paella will bring everyone to the table with its distinctive golden color, smoky flavor, caramelized crust, and mouth-watering aroma! Paella – one of the best-known dishes in Spanish cuisine – takes its name from the wide, shallow traditional pan used to cook the dish on an open fire. Paella means “frying pan” in ´Valencian, Valencia’s regional language.

❓ What´s the best rice to use?

The best rice to use is Bomba rice because it has the ability to absorb twice the amount of liquid than regular rice without getting mushy. However, if you can’t find them, the next best replacement is Arborio rice which is commonly used for Risotto. It gets super creamy when liquid is stirred in slowly. Paella is not meant to be creamy, so you definitely don’t want to stir the arborio or you’ll end up with risotto. In fact, you shouldn’t stir paella at all once the broth has entered the pan (like I did).

Homemade Oat Cereal https://www.veganit.org/recipe/homemade-oat-cereal/ https://www.veganit.org/recipe/homemade-oat-cereal/#respond Wed, 09 Sep 2020 14:04:06 +0000 https://www.veganit.org/?post_type=osetin_recipe&p=1570 Read More]]>
I do hope you give this a shot. You’ll find that it tastes a lot better than the stuff you got in the stores. Besides, you have control over the ingredients you use and, if you make it on a regular basis it does work out to be a lot cheaper. This cereal is way more filling than your run of the mill boxed variety, so you may want to take that into consideration when you pour yourself a bowl. One cup of cereal is enough to fill me up easily. Just keep that in mind when pouring yourself a bowl 😉

It’s a classic comfort food recipe, but this version is super healthy, so you can enjoy it on a daily basis! I always feel bad when a non-vegan tastes vegan “cheese” for the first time. ❓ Why is this one of the best soups ever? Let me explain: During cooking, okra exudes a mucilaginous liquid that lends the soup with a sumptuous, silky texture. The chickpeas thickens the broth and adds a nutty flavor that compliments the vegetables. And finely, the spices incorporated at the end further enriches the dish and provides a faintly peppery, grassy bite. Of all the dishes in the realm of Louisiana cooking, gumbo is the most famous and, very likely, the most popular. Although ingredients might vary greatly from one part of the state to another, a steaming bowl of fragrant gumbo is one of life’s cherished pleasures, as emblematic of Louisiana as chili is of Texas.
